Client Highlight: City of Henderson
In response to the most severe drought on record for the Colorado River System, the City of Henderson and the member agencies of the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) created the Drought Response Plan. This regional drought plan requests all SNWA member agencies carry out response functions to mitigate the impacts of drought on their communities.
The City of Henderson hired MassMedia to create a campaign to encourage water conservation. The agency conducted extensive research including interviews and focus groups with residents. MassMedia used the results of this research to create the campaign "Henderson Knows H2O," and designed ads, fliers, posters, vehicle wraps and outdoor signage to promote the program and raise awareness.
